Room before
Room After
I hope this shows improvement as I am not a good photographer. This room has changed a little more since these pictures were taken. I am trying to convey what can be done with old unloved furniture. Please excuse the clutter. Did I mention I have grandchildren?

Hi Girlfriend...
You know that I just adore your living room!!! I savored every square inch of the enlarged photo of it...hehe! I love the transformation...although the "before" was pretty too! I bet you refinished the sofa yourself? Did you also reupholster it...I love the fabric...patterns and colors! And I love the architectural piece above the sofa that you refurbished...if I ever find something similar, I'm stealing your idea...hehe!!!
Well my friend, it looks like you've had your hands full with Grandkids...loved reading your post about them!!! They sure know how to keep the grandparents busy, don't they? So glad that you're enjoying them and making many, many memories for them!
Love ya, Sweetie!

Remember when we were pondering what to do with that space?! I just love your style! Have you recuperated from your grandchildren's visit yet?! God Bless you today! Lauralu :)
Athella, I am loving that rug! I don't remember ever seeing it before. Is it new? I've always liked everything else in here, but I just don't remember seeing the rug before. laurie

Ladies your compliments mean so much. I always look at my pictures and think everything looks so folksy and amateurish. <--Is that a word?
Thanks to all for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment. ~Athella
Lu, I do remember. I thought about that when I was posting them. I posted a few hundred different options. Nothing felt right to me but, everyone(most everyone) was patient and lol diplomatic. I think it was Kismet us finding each other.
